Why Theatre?
Theatre is one of the last places where a whole community sits in the same room, hears the same story, and keeps the conversation going long after the lights come up. Moments like that phone call don’t happen by accident. They happen because people like you believe in the power of theatre to bring a community together. This year, we want to make that room bigger.

Our board has committed $2,500 to welcome our first 100 first-time donors. A $25 gift becomes $50.

Why Your Gift Matters Now
This year, we unexpectedly lost a $50,000 government capacity-building grant that helped build our staffing infrastructure, including $37,500 we were counting on this season. At a time when public support for the arts in Florida is shrinking, community support matters more than ever. Reaching $25,000 by December 31 closes two-thirds of that gap, so we can keep this season growing instead of scaling back.
Ticket sales and season passes cover about 35% of what it takes to put professional theatre on our stage. The other 65% comes from donors, business partners, and grantors.
Your gift invests in South Florida’s theatre artists, brings new local voices to our stage through NCPLab and Lauder Made, and keeps the conversation going through The Space, our new post-show dialogue program.
